Who we are
MDS — Modern Design Studio (moderndesignstudio.app), run by Andrew Morgan, Cairo, Egypt. Contact: through the email address shown on the website.
What we collect
- Account: your name, email address, and how you sign in (password — stored only as a secure hash — or Google).
- Your work: the projects, designs, settings, library blocks and files you create or add in MDS.
- Welcome answers: what you do (designer, student…), what you use MDS for, your age range, organization, team size, country and city, how you heard about MDS and which studios interest you.
- Use of MDS: when you joined and last signed in, how many designs you have, the code or invitation you joined with.
Why
- To give you your account and keep your work safe and available on your devices.
- To improve MDS (which studios and features to build next).
- Only if you ticked "Send me news and offers": to tell you about MDS news and offers, and to reach people like you through advertising. You can untick it any time in Your details.
Where it is kept
With our hosting providers: Supabase (database, files and sign-in; servers in Ireland, EU) and Cloudflare (the website). We do not sell your data.
Your rights
You can see and change your details in MDS, download your work as a backup, and ask us to delete your account and everything in it. People in the EU and UK have these rights under the GDPR, and everyone using MDS gets them.
Age
MDS is for people aged 16 or older.
How long we keep it
While your account exists. When it is deleted, your work and answers are removed; backups expire within a few weeks.
